President Trump hit back at Adam Schiff and demanded he immediately resign from Congress for making up quotes he said before Congress.
But Trump didn’t stop there – he wants Schiff to be investigated. Look, Adam didn’t do this to the media or to dupe his supporters into donating to his campaign -he did this in front of Congress and the nation.
“It’s a shame that we started off this hearing with fictional remarks. The implication of a conversation that took place between a president and a foreign leader putting words into it that did not exist. They were not in the transcript,” said Brad Wenstrup as he called out Adam Schiff in front of Congress.
“And I would contend that they were intentionally not clear and the chairman described it as parody and I don’t believe this is the time or the place for parody when we are seeking facts,” he added.
Schiff admitted to the dirty deed after being called out but it was not enough for Trump.
“My summary of the president’s call was meant to be at least, part, in parody. The fact that that’s not clear is a separate problem in and of itself. Of course, the president never said, ‘If you don’t understand me I’m going to say it seven more times,’ my point is, that’s the message that the Ukraine president was receiving in not so many words,” Schiff said.
Enter President Trump: “Rep. Adam Schiff totally made up my conversation with Ukraine President and read it to Congress and Millions. He must resign and be investigated. He has been doing this for two years. He is a sick man.”
